The National Museum in Warsaw and the Lakmé-Art Foundation invite you to another concert of the Sounds of Art series this season. "Der Rosenkavalier" is a masterpiece of Richard Strauss - a composer whose genius closes the era of great romantic operas. It is the quintessence of his music, composing talent, dramatic idea and operatic narrative. Meeting with such rarely performed music will be a real feast for both music lovers and listeners who will face Strauss's musical matter for the first time. During the concert we will hear not only fragments of "Der Rosenkavalier" but also the fight against Intermezzo, songs or the comic-perverse Zerbinetta scene from the opera "Ariadna na Naxos". The repertoire will be performed by outstanding soloists: Gabriela Kamińska (soprano), Yaryna Rak (soprano) and Elwira Janasik (mezzo-soprano) with the accompaniment of Paweł Sommer (piano) and Lakme Art String Quartet. The concert will be led by the artistic director of the Lakmé-Art Foundation Grzegorz Bayer.

The Sounds of Art series, enjoying the interest of audiences and critics since 2017, is coming back to the National Museum in Warsaw for the fourth time. Sounds of Art is not only a harmony of art, but also an educational project. The Lakmé-Art Foundation has invited the best musicians from Poland and abroad, as well as young professionals on the threshold of their careers, to the project.
